27 January 2021 – Axalta (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, recently renewed its contract with the Agoria Solar Team, a team of Belgium engineering students from the Catholic University of Leuven. As part of the two-year Silver Partner agreement, Cromax®, one of Axalta’s premium refinish brands, will be used to paint a specially designed solar car, which will be entered into the 2021 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. Experts from Axalta will also support the student team with technical expertise and guidance. The Cromax logo will appear on the car, the team’s collateral, clothing and on team support vehicles.
