DESCRIPTION

This practical, hands-on course will show refinishers how to accurately match new clearcoat trends set by many automotive manufacturers.   It offers a combination of theory and practical exercises to correctly identify and apply special finishes such as a matt or tinted clearcoat.

Using colour matching tools, such as ChromaVision, Fan Deck and test panels, this course sets out to teach participants how to optimise time and material savings in the bodyshop when carrying out these types of repairs.

In simple steps, we teach attendees practical tips on how to get the job done efficiently and correctly, minimising costly reworks and provide them with specialist information on the procedures and products required to successfully repair vehicles with these types of finish.  Particular attention to application and blending techniques of a tinted clearcoat finish and the application of a matt finish clearcoat whilst delivering increased productivity.

At the end of the course, all participants are given a certificate of completion.
