ADVANCED CROMAX BASECOAT TRAINING

DESCRIPCIÓN

This practical, hands-on QAA-accredited course covers all aspects of using waterborne Cromax Basecoat from colour mixing to application and blending techniques. It is designed to help refinishers work more productively and efficiently to achieve a right-first-time result. We are happy to tailor training to specific requirements.

During the course, participants learn how to identify and to prepare substrates, working with both plastic and metal substrates. Training takes paint technicians through the selection of the correct primer and different repair methods. They are shown, and then get to practice, various sanding and application techniques and are given a wealth of practical tips. The course also touches on fillers and non-sanding primers.

After a session on blending techniques, participants will be able to cope with even the most difficult colours and finishes. They will also be up-to-speed on the latest product developments.

The Advanced Cromax Basecoat training course demonstrates proven best practice repair methods. It gives refinishers practical tips to get the job done quickly and to minimise costly reworks. It also provides participants with specialist information on the procedures and products required to successfully repair vehicles with Cromax Basecoat. At the end of the training, all participants will be given a file with detailed take-home information covering all aspects of the course.

Upon successful completion of a short multiple-choice test at the end of the course, participants will gain QAA accreditation and an IMI Awards certificate.
